Welcome to Fish Patagonia!
After months of planning and hard work, we are delighted to be sharing Fish Patagonia with the world. We are so looking forward to welcoming you to Patagonia to share our passion and local knowledge of this very special place, both on and off the water.
Fish Patagonia was born out of our desire to share the absolute best of fly fishing on the local waters in Northern Patagonia we know and love so well, combined with the highest possible attention to detail. Peter, our co-founder and Head Guide, was born and bred here, and has been fly fishing with his father (also a fishing guide and member of our team) for as long as he can remember. Peter contributes his unparalleled knowledge of the area and his invaluable lifelong connections with local landowners, lodge managers and guides to provide guests with the best possible access to all of our most prized pristine rivers and lakes.
Holly, the other half of Fish Patagonia and an import to Argentina from her native Scotland, has been involved in her family’s own hospitality business since childhood, and gained seasons of valuable experience working at our partner lodge Tipiliuke. She also brings her years of professional experience as a London commercial lawyer and eye for attention to detail to the organisational side of Fish Patagonia, coupled with her passion for local gaucho horse culture and the wilds of Patagonia.
Our promise is to provide all of our guests with an unforgettable experience exploring the untamed beauty of Northern Patagonia’s water systems and landscapes by providing you with top class fly fishing guiding and exceptional service and hosting.
We have spent months in planning the launch of our first season, and have been busy putting together the best team of seasoned fly fishing guides, technical gear and selection of partner lodges the area has to offer. No detail has been spared. We are delighted to be offering our guests exclusive access to a stunning private lodge on the banks of the river Quilquihue for week long fishing programs, christened Casa Quilquihue. We are also looking forward to hosting guests at all of the top partner lodges in the area, and offering a day fishing program for those staying in San Martín and wishing to explore the fishing on offer from town.
